The Battle for Atlantis Tournament MOVED

According to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, the 2020 Battle for Atlantis Tournament has been moved from Atlantis in the Bahamas to South Dakota.

The games will now be played at the Sanford Pentagon in South Dakota and the dates are still to be determined.  There will be limited fans allowed at the tournament and social distancing protocols will be in place.

The field for the tournament includes Duke, Memphis, Creighton, Wichita State, Utah, Texas A&M, Ohio State and West Virginia.

The Mountaineers open the season on November 10th at home against Fairleigh Dickinson, followed by three more home games against Pitt, Stony Brook and Bowling Green before likely playing the Battle for Atlantis games after that.

West Virginia won the championship in the Cancun Challenge last season.
