The “Dream Scenario” for the Big 12

A “dream scenario” for the Big 12 is on the horizon in the midst of conference realignment.

Morgantown, WV – The Big 12 is hot on the conference realignment trail. Days after the league added Colorado, many have begun to speculate who the conference could add next.

Brett McMurphy of Stadium recently revealed his “dream scenario” for the Big 12 moving forward, and should it come to fruition, fans all across the Midwest will be ecstatic.

McMurphy laid out the possibility of the Big 12 adding Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah prior to the beginning of the 2024 season. This would put the Big 12 at 16 teams for the 2024 season, and add a plethora of pedigree for the league moving forward.

Adding these three schools would ultimately span the Big 12 all across the United States, and give them a chance to grow commercially. The potential to be even more relevant (despite losing Texas and Oklahoma) would become a reality.

Each school brings various levels of success in several sports, and would open up championship windows for the Big 12 to capitalize.

With conference realignment dominating national news, The Voice of Motown will bring you updates as they become available.
