Morgantown, West Virginia – I have tried to interview West Virginia Mountaineer quarterback legend Major Harris for the past two years. I texted and called him over one hundred times, so I was shocked when he finally agreed to sit down with me.
Harris now lives a quiet life in Pittsburgh (where he’s originally from), far removed from the spotlight he once shined in. While Major has done interviews in the past, it’s very rare that he speaks to the media at this point in his life.
The questions I chose to ask him were asked deliberately and with the intention of getting the answers to the questions that Mountaineer fans have always had for him.
I believe Major Harris is the greatest football player in West Virginia University history. Does he? That’s where I start the interview.
