Morgantown, West Virginia – After gaining the commitment of four star quarterback Nicco Marchiol, the floodgates of recruits are about to open up for the West Virginia Mountaineers!

Marchiol is considered one of the best peer recruiters in the nation and several players are expected to follow him to Morgantown.

Justin Williams, a four star running back from Georgia, is likely the next player to make West Virginia University his new home.  Williams, a 5’11 203 pound running back, has offers from USC, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, North Carolina State, Michigan State, Arkansas, among many others, but he has reportedly narrowed his decision down to Louisville, Nebraska and West Virginia.

Williams visited Nebraska on June 4th, West Virginia on June 11th and Louisville on June 18th.

Since leaving Morgantown, his social media has been lit up with West Virginia-related activity and a commitment appears imminent.

When Marchiol committed to West Virginia yesterday, Williams retweeted it and added, “TAKE ME HOME.”

In addition, he immediately posted a message that read, “Need a videographer ASAP”, presumably for his upcoming decision announcement.

Although there will be several talented players committing to West Virginia over the next days or weeks, Williams is likely the next to announce it publicly.

Williams, considered one of the top running back recruits in the 2022 class, will compete with fellow four star backs Jaylen Anderson and Justin Johnson for the future starting position when Leddie Brown graduates next season.
