Morgantown, West Virginia – Scottie Young, the senior transfer safety from Arizona, will finally be able to play for the Mountaineers!
Young has been cleared to play in West Virginia’s bowl game, the Liberty Bowl, on December 31st. Young said the following in his message on social media: “The NCAA has given me the opportunity to play in our bowl game.
I would like to thank Coach Addae and Coach Brown, and the rest of our amazing staff for believing in me and providing me with this opportunity as well. It has been over 365 days since I last played, and I can’t wait to get back out there to finish the year strong and send our seniors off the right way.”
