Moments ago, the Big 12 Conference revealed their weekly accolades. Tony Mathis Jr., who rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns against Baylor, was named the conference’s Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

Mathis’ performance propelled the Mountaineers to a 43-40 victory over the Bears last Thursday night.

The star running back will once again have a chance to pile up accolades when West Virginia travels to take on Texas Tech this weekend.

Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. The game will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
