Top West Virginia Recruit Has Decommited From The Team

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, Justin Williams, a four star running back recruit in the 2022 class, has decommited from West Virginia!

Williams visited Tennessee this following weekend and openly admitted enjoying the visit.

In his message posted on his personal social media account, Williams said the following: “After a very long conversation with my family, I have decided to decommit from West Virginia University.

“First off I want to thank Coach Scott and Coach Brown for giving me the opportunity to play at the next level and for believing in me since day one.  I can genuinely say ya’ll are great guys.  I want to thank the rest of WVU’s staff for believing in me as well as well as Mountaineer Nation for showing constant love and and support.

I also wish nothing but the best to coaches, fans, and players.  But with that being said, my recruitment is back open.  I need time to make sure I am making the best decision possible for my future.  No interview or questions at this time please and thank you.”

Williams held offers from Louisville, Nebraska, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Kansas, Michigan State, Pitt, Tennessee and USC before ultimately deciding to join the Mountaineers.
