Today, former Mountaineer quarterback, Trey Lowe, made his first career start for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.
Golden Eagles win!
Kevin Perkins rushes for all three of our TDs, and we roll up 245 yards on the ground. 😤

Lowe would lead the Golden Eagles to a 24-13 victory over North Alabama.
Statistically, Lowe would have an underwhelming performance. He would finish 12 for 20 on pass attempts with 100 passing yards and zero touchdowns to two interceptions. Lowe would tally only 31 rushing yards on 10 carries.
Nonetheless, Trey Lowe finally has his first career start under his belt, and is most importantly 1-0.
Congratulations, Trey!
