West Virginia was represented by junior Derek Culver and sophomore Miles “Deuce” McBride on the Honorable Mention list.

Culver, who averaged 14.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game, was a first team All Big 12 Conference player this season.

McBride finished the season, averaging 15.4 points, 4.7 assists and 3.8 rebounds while shooting 39.2% from three point range.

Both players had tremendous seasons and could certainly make a case to be a 2nd or 3rd team All American this year, but if they return to WVU next season they will be lead candidates to be All Americans.

Congratulations to both Derek Cuvler and Deuce McBride for their outstanding efforts this season and for continuing to make West Virginia proud!
