On January 5, 2019, WVU Football began a new era. After the departure of Dana Holgorsen to Houston, Shane Lyons and the university hired up and coming coach Neal Brown from Troy University.
Two years have since passed, and Brown has the program on the ascension. West Virginia has just won a bowl game, and had their first winning season under Brown. Recruiting is firing on all cylinders, and all signs are pointing towards a major jump in 2021.
The future is bright with Brown at the helm, and we should all be thankful he was available at the time that he was. He hung around for the entire carousel, and ended up where he belongs – in Morgantown.
Let’s Go Mountaineers!
