I had us beating Kansas 31-24 but the pick is looking sketchy at the start of the game. KU quickly jumps ahead by a score of 10-0. Doege and WVU have answered with a 33 yard TD pass to Ford-Wheaton that brings us to within a FG at 10-7. Besides the big play, once again WVU’s offense looks stagnant and the play calling inadequate. Cannot much blame the defense when the offense turns the ball over on a TJ Simmons fumble and the kickoff team burys us deep with a clipping penalty. Hopefully the offense can get going by handing the rock to Leddie Brown and we can avoid an embarassment loss to the winless Jayhawks. WVU is 8-1 all time against KU with the only loss coming in 2013 by a score of 31-19.
