Morgantown, West Virginia – The West Virginia Mountaineers already have a Top 25 recruiting class for 2023 and today, they are going to get even better!
Justin Benton, a four star defensive tackle from Covington, Georgia, was considered a lock to play for his hometown Georgia Bulldogs, but quickly fell in love with West Virginia after an official visit to Morgantown on June 3rd.
Benton has announced that he will make his official commitment today and it looks very good for him choosing to play for the Mountaineers! In fact, it now appears that Neal Brown has convinced him to make West Virginia his new home.
In addition to offers from Georgia, Benton held offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan State, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, USC, Virginia Tech and many other programs throughout the country.
