VERY Interesting Social Media Post from Darnell Wright

Morgantown, West Virginia – There has been a lot of smoke with rumors of former five star recruit, Darnell Wright, transferring home to West Virginia.

Wright, a 6’6 330 pound offensive lineman originally from Huntington, West Virginia, is a two-year starter for the Tennessee Volunteers and earned Freshman All-SEC team honors in 2019.

Moments ago, Wright posted the following message on Twitter, which could literally mean anything but considering the rumors of a potential transfer, seem to point to something very big for the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Here’s why we think Wright could consider transferring and returning home to play for the Mountaineers:

Tennessee’s offensive line coach Will Friend has decided to take the same position at the University of South Carolina under new head coach Shane Beamer.  The Tennessee Volunteers, who finished 3-7 this season, are a total mess right now, and Wright’s position coach just left.

Wright left several other clues behind on social media.  Not only has Wright “liked” Neal Brown’s last three posts on social media (“Let’s Go!!! after Doug Nester committed to WVU, video of the Mountaineers tubing in the snow at the Wisp Resort and Brown telling Barstool founder Dave Portnoy to send a donation to West Virginia football), he also “liked” the following message, saying, “After the Liberty Bowl, Darnell Wright can board the West Virginia football plane back to Morgantown.”  These “likes” have since been removed.

The West Virginia offensive line already has an incredibly bright future with in-state studs Zach Frazier (Fairmont Senior), Milum, Nester, perhaps Corbin Page and the addition of one of the most talented offensive lineman in the entire nation would be icing on the cake.

Remember, Darnell Wright previously stated that former West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen “didn’t even try” to recruit him and Neal Brown made a last-ditch effort to lure him to Morgantown.  Although there is nothing concrete yet, Darnell Wright to West Virginia University almost makes too much sense!

COME HOME, DARNELL!
