Morgantown, West Virginia – Former West Virginia Mountaineers point guard turned New York Knicks rookie Miles “Deuce” McBride was a former high school quarterback and an avid football fan.

Earlier today, McBride posted the following on his social media account: “Nothing like college football!  Good luck to West Virginia football!  Can’t wait to watch!”

McBride also gave The Voice of Motown his exclusive prediction for the game.  “34-14 WVU.  Let’s Go Mountaineers!”

McBride, who was the 36th overall pick in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft, averaged 15.2 points in 27.7 minutes per game for the New York Knicks’ Summer League team, shooting 53% from the field and 50% from three point range.
