Country music performer Brad Paisley is a proud West Virginian and yesterday he went live on his social media accounts to do a “concert” for his fans. One fan asked for him to play “Country Roads” and Paisley was happy to play it.
Paisley added, “This song actually has a great message. One of the Senators of our state, Senator Manchin, said how we were one of the last states to get the Coronavirus but that it was already there. The bad thing about West Virginia – and why I want all West Virginians to be diligent during this time – that we have a large portion of our population that is over 70 and at-risk. So we really want to make sure that our people stay home until this thing is over.”
