Morgantown, West Virginia – Miles “Deuce” McBride is in Chicago this week for the NBA Draft Combine and so far he has been really, really impressive!
McBride measured 6’1 without shoes and had a 6’8.75 wingspan and added a 38.5” vertical leap and 11.07 lane agility time. All of his measurements were impressive and much better than expected.
Scouts and analysts have been very impressed by what they’ve seen from McBride on the court so far.
ESPN Draft analyst Mike Schmitz said the following of McBride today: “Impressed by Miles McBride’s combination of strength and length for the point guard position. One of the best defenders in the country this past season. Physical with quick feet and relentless ball pressure.”

In addition, McBride was on fire during today’s shooting drills. Jonathan Givony of Draft Express said McBride “really popped physically and defensively” during workouts today.

With an impressive first day showing, McBride continues to shoot up the draft board, making it more and more unlikely that he’ll return for another year with the Mountaineers.
