WATCH: Mike Gundy and Chuba Hubbard Appear in a Video Together

It appears that the saga in Oklahoma State is going to come to an end now.  Chuba Hubbard, the ultra-talented running back for the Cowboys posted the following message on Twitter today after his head coach, Mike Gundy, was seen wearing a OAN (a far right news source) shirt:  “I will not stand for this.. This is completely insensitive to everything going on in society, and it’s unacceptable. I will not be doing anything with Oklahoma State until things CHANGE.”

Moments ago, it appears that the two have squashed their issues and will now focus on moving forward and making changes.  Gundy started by saying, “In light of today’s Tweet with the shirt I was wearing, I met with the players and I realize that it’s a very sensitive issue with what’s going on in today’s society.  We had a great meeting and they made me aware of some things to make our culture here at Oklahoma State even better than it already is.  I look forward to making some changes and it starts at the top with me.  We’ve got great days ahead.”

Hubbard followed his coach by saying, “I want to start by saying that I went about this the wrong way.  I shouldn’t have tweeted about it and I should have gone to him as a man.  That was bad on my part, but from now on we’re going to focus on bringing change and that’s the most important thing.”
