Week Twelve Big 12 Predictions

Week twelve brings yet another brief schedule for the Big 12. After the Texas-Kansas matchup was postponed, there will only be two games played this weekend. One of which has major implications for the Big 12 Championship Game.

Here are our week twelve Big 12 predictions:

  • Kansas State at Iowa State, 4 on FOX:
This game has the makings of a good old fashioned slug fest. Yes, the Cyclones are the better team, but they never make things easy for themselves. Will Howard will have a bounce back game on the road after his horrible outing at West Virginia. This will be tight late, and I think the Wildcats prevail to somewhat salvage their once magical season.
Kansas State 27, Iowa State 26
  • Oklahoma State at Oklahoma, 7:30 on ABC:
The winner of this game will likely be a participant in the Big 12 Championship Game in December. After stumbling out of the gate, the Sooners have turned their fortunes around by winning four straight. Oklahoma State has been one of the most fundamentally sound football teams in the conference this season, and are just a few plays away from being undefeated. This one will be a solid game until the end, but I just don’t see the Cowboys making enough plays in the end. Spencer Rattler will put his team up late with a touchdown pass, and that will be all she wrote for this one.
