The West Virginia Mountaineers beat the #2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes 67-59 to move 11-1 to on the season.
West Virginia was led by sensational freshman point guard Miles McBride who finished with 21 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds. Senior Chase Harler added 10 huge points off the bench. Derek Culver and Oscar Tshiwebwe, who spent a large part of the game on the bench in foul trouble, combined for 7 points and 12 rebounds.

Ohio State was led by junior forward Kaleb Wesson, who finished with 17 points and 9 rebounds. The Mountaineers shot 13-23 from the foul line and Ohio State was 21-29. The Buckeyes also outrebounded the Mountaineers 40-31.
West Virginia will next travel to Lawrence, Kansas to play the #5 ranked Kansas Jayhawks next Saturday, January 4th on ESPN+.
