MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Moments ago, West Virginia starter Jimmy Bell, Jr. announced that he is entering his name in the transfer portal.
Bell, a 6’10 center from Saginaw, Michigan, averaged 4.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for the Mountaineers last season. Bell has been practicing with the West Virginia football team over the past couple of weeks and it’s unclear what this means for his future with that sport.
