West Virginia Coach Says BIG NEWS Coming Soon for the Mountaineers

Morgantown, West Virginia – It’s Christmas Day and West Virginia assistant coach Sean Reagan claims that fans of the Mountaineers will get a very special gift very soon!

Reagan, the current tight ends coach for the Mountaineers, had the following to say this evening on his social media account: “BIG news coming soon for the Mountaineers…”

Although Reagan could be referring to a number of things, the most likely is that Kole Taylor, a recent transfer from LSU, could soon be committing to play for the Mountaineers.

Taylor, a 6’7 250 pound tight end from Grand Junction, Colorado, recently decided to leave the LSU football program and enter the transfer portal. Taylor then visited Morgantown and has been in contact with Oklahoma State, Oregon State, among several other programs around the country.

Taylor caught 5 passes for 55 yards this season for the Tigers and had 6 receptions for 68 yards and 1 touchdown last season. West Virginia has made finding a pass-catching tight end a real priority this season and Kole Taylor would certainly fill that void. Stay tuned, big news coming to West Virginia fans soon!
