Morgantown, West Virginia – One of the top players available in the transfer portal is in contact with the coaching staff at West Virginia.
Jesse Edwards, a 6’11 center from Amsterdam, Netherlands, entered the portal yesterday and has already heard from a number of programs, including Georgia, LSU, Arkansas, BYU, Gonzaga, Seton Hall, Missouri, Vanderbilt and West Virginia.
Edwards, a senior with one year of eligibility remaining, averaged a double-double last season with 14.5 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game for the Orangemen.
