Morgantown, West Virginia – The West Virginia Mountaineers (4-4) pulled off a huge upset win over the #22 ranked Iowa State Cyclones (5-3), 38-31!
Jarret Doege had one of his most productive games of the season, finishing 30/46 for a career-high 370 yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
Senior Leddie Brown led the Mountaineers in rushing with 22 carries for 109 yards and 1 touchdown. Tony Mathis rushed 5 times for 14 yards.
West Virginia’s wide receivers were once again outstanding, led by Bryce Ford-Wheaton, who caught 6 passes for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns, Winston Wright who had 6 receptions for 100 yards and Isaiah Esdale who added 6 catches for 61 yards.

The Mountaineers are back in action next Saturday against the 6-1, #15 ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys at Milan Puskar Stadium.
