West Virginia Defensive Player Enters the Transfer Portal

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — According to multiple sources, West Virginia junior Hershey McLaurin intends to leave the Mountaineers’ football program and enter the transfer portal.

McLaurin, 6’1 215 pound safety from Friendship, Mississippi, had 44 total tackles, 24 solos, 20 assists and 3 passes defended for the Mountaineers this past season. It’s unclear at the moment why McLaurin has decided to leave the program or where he intends to continue his football career.
