West Virginia Defensive Player Leaves Team

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago on his social media accounts, West Virginia defensive back Tacorey Turner has decided to leave the Mountaineers football program and enter the transfer portal.

Turner, a former 3 star recruit from Montgomery, Alabama, made it official today, saying, “Being able to do what you love while getting a free education while also growing is nothing but a blessing.  However, my time at WVU has come to an end.  I have entered my name in the transfer portal.  This has been one of the toughest decisions in my life so far, but it’s essential for my growth as a football player and as a man.  I would like to thank the whole WVU staff for taking a chance on me.  Also, I will be forever grateful for the friendships I have gained during my time in Morgantown.  Now, I’m putting it all in God’s hands.”

Best of luck with your future, Tacorey!  Once a Mountaineer, Always a Mountaineer!
