West Virginia Falls at Home to Kansas State

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — The West Virginia Mountaineers dropped another Big 12 Conference game to move to 5-10 overall and 0-2 in conference play, losing to the Kansas State Wildcats (12-3, 2-0), 81-67.

The Mountaineers, still struggling to develop chemistry among its players, were led by RaeQuan Battle, who finished the game with 21 points and 3 rebounds. Noah Farrakhan and Kobe Johnson had 11 points, and Kerr Kriisa added 10 points and 5 assists.

The Mountaineers are back in action on Saturday, January 13 at home against the #25 ranked Texas Longhorns, who ware currently 12-3. It’s unclear whether West Virginia will get their starting center, Jesse Edwards, back from an injury.
