Morgantown, West Virginia – The quarterback room at West Virginia is already very crowded with incumbent starter Jarret Doege, backups Garrett Greene and Will “Goose” Crowder”, as well as freshman sensation Nicco Marchiol scheduled to return to play for the Mountaineers next season.

Today, high school senior Raheim Jeter, a 6’3 235 pound strong-armed 2023 quarterback out of Spartanburg, South Carolina, will make his commitment announcement today on his birthday and the Mountaineers are among the favorites to land him.

Jeter, who has offers from Auburn, Georgia, Memphis, Missouri and Virginia Tech, appears to be down to Kentucky and West Virginia. Jeter has visited Morgantown multiple times and has been very impressed with the coaching staff, facilities and fanbase at West Virginia.

Jeter turns 17 year old today and will make his official announcement this evening at 6:00PM on his personal social media accounts. Stay tuned because it looks like Raheim Jeter could be a Mountaineer very soon!
