West Virginia Football Releases Weird, Awkward Video

Morgantown, West Virginia – This afternoon, West Virginia Football held its annual Pro Day for NFL teams and several West Virginia seniors participated in preparation for the 2022 NFL Draft.

In a video posted on the team’s social media account, players on the current team were filmed supporting the seniors. The concept of the video was admirable, but the execution of it was…bizarre.

The video started with sophomore wide receiver Kaden Prather saying, “Leddie Brown, I remember when you were this big, dog. I’m proud of you, my boy.”

The camera then focuses on wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton, who said, “Good luck to my dogs. I know they’re about to get paid. It’s a good day for them.”

Redshirt junior offensive lineman Ja’Quay Hubbard awkwardly added, “I just hope they have fun.”

After a brief moment of silence, Ford-Wheaton replied, “Yeah, I hope they have fun too.”

But the video got really weird when a player said, “Once a Mountaineer, Always a Mountaineer.” The rest of the players started laughing and one player said, “Oh no, don’t say that!”

It’s unclear what was meant by that, but it certainly didn’t seem like the players supported that message.  Check out the entire odd video below and leave us your thoughts on it:
