Morgantown, West Virginia – Last week, former West Virginia offensive coordinator Calvin Magee passed away after suffering a heart attack.

Magee, 59, worked at West Virginia University from 2001 to 2007 under Rich Rodriguez and was the current assistant head coach/offensive coordinator/tight ends coach under Rodriguez at Jacksonville State University.

Magee’s funeral was held over the past couple of days and many of his former players attended.

Rodriguez was photographed with former players Pat White and Darius Reynaud, who were teammates on the memorable 2007 Mountaineers team who finished 11-2 and beat the Oklahoma Sooners 48-28 in the Fiesta Bowl.

Although it was under sad, difficult circumstances, it’s great to see true West Virginia greats like Rich Rod, Pat White and Darius Reynaud back together again.
