Morgantown, West Virginia – West Virginia senior guard Taz Sherman had a big week, scoring a career-high 27 points in the 1st round of the Charleston Classic against Elon.
Sherman averaged 20 points per game in the tournament where the Mountaineers finished 2-1 and in 3rd place.
Moments ago, Sherman was named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week!
On the season, Sherman averages 19.0 points, 3.6 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game for the 4-1 Mountaineers.
