Two years ago, West Virginia gymnast Erica Fontaine became a viral sensation when NBA star Kevin Durant started following her and liking her pictures. It was reported that Durant was hitting on her and showed interest in her on Instagram.
Fontaine, who is considered one of the most valuable female college athletes according to Athletic Director U has become an entrepreneur recently and created a “Fans Only Account”, where she charges $14.99 to see the content.
Who stands to benefit from NIL legislation? Unquestionably female student-athletes. @UCLAGymnastics could generate $1.25 million annually in endorsement revenue, including $10k per Instagram post.

Although “Fans Only Accounts” are often reserved for Adults, there is no real indication that this will feature nudity or any kind of sexual content, despite reports stating otherwise. Rather, it appears that she is simply trying to make some money with her content and become a full-time social influencer now that she has graduated from West Virginia University.
