West Virginia Has “No Class,” Per Popular Social Media Personality

Big Game Boomer is not a fan of the Mountaineers.

Morgantown, WV – During Saturday’s 59-20 loss to Oklahoma, WVU Safety Anthony Wilson created quite the stir with a legal hit on Sooners Receiver Drake Stoops. Not only did this lead to a scuffle among players in the end zone, but fans on X also voiced their displeasure.

Big Game Boomer, an Oklahoma based social media account, had some choice words for West Virginia following the altercation.

BGB referred to West Virginia as having “no class whatsoever,” and went as far to say that he was not surprised. Given the account’s track record with mindless lists, and featuring the Mountaineers towards the bottom of virtually every “ranking,” nobody is in shock from his take.

Wilson’s hit on Stoops is certainly destined to be a topic of conversation for several weeks to come. While many may have seen it as classless, it was clean and legal. Targeting is generally called when a player leads with the crown of their helmet – which Wilson did not.

Our best advice is to ignore any conversation surrounding the event, and save yourself a headache.
