West Virginia Lands Perfect Bob Huggins Style Player

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, 6’8 freshman forward Patrick Suemnick made his commitment to play for the West Virginia Mountaineers!

Suemnick, a transfer from Robert Morris, is originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin.  Suemnick played sixteen games last season for the Colonials, averaging 2.4 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.

Since leaving Robert Morris, however, Suemnick has gained major interest from big-time schools around the country and was recently offered a scholarship to both Texas A&M and West Virginia.  Reportedly, Suemnick has gotten a lot stronger and has been impressive at Triton College, where he will play the upcoming season before ultimately transferring to West Virginia next season.

Although Suemnick is bit of a project, he’s a threat from the inside and outside, has incredible energy, a body ready for the Big 12 Conference and he’s also a 4.0 student.
