West Virginia Loses Another Starter to the Transfer Portal

Morgantown, West Virginia – The West Virginia Mountaineers suffered another big loss when talented defensive lineman Jordan Jefferson reportedly left the program and entered the transfer portal on Friday night.

Jefferson, a 6’3 310 pound junior from Navarre, Florida, had 31 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 3 sacks as a starter at nose tackle for the Mountaineers this season. West Virginia has now lost 15 players since the season ended and have not gained any scholarship players yet.
