West Virginia Mountaineers Left Out of the Top 25

Morgantown, West Virginia – The West Virginia Mountaineers (10-1), fresh off a big comeback road victory at UAB, have once again been robbed of a Top 25 recognition by the AP.

The Mountaineers check in this week in second on the “also receiving votes” section, which puts them at #27 in the AP Poll.

West Virginia is back in action on Wednesday, December 22nd inside the WVU Coliseum against a talented Youngstown State (7-3) team from the Horizon Conference. Following that game, West Virginia will take a break for Christmas and then will begin conference play at Texas on January 1st.

Let’s Go Mountaineers!
