Yea Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, the West Virginia Mountaineers replaced former assistant coach Erik Martin, who became the new head coach at South Carolina State, with Josh Eilert.
Eilert, who has very limited actual bench coaching experience, was the director of basketball operations from 2017-22 after he spent the first six seasons as the video coordinator and coordinator of basketball operations from 2013-17 with the Mountaineers.
