West Virginia Now Has a Top 25 Recruiting Class

Morgantown, West Virginia – In the past two days, Neal Brown and his staff have landed commitments from two four star recruits in cornerback Jacolby Spells yesterday and running back Justin Williams today.

Now, according to Rivals, the West Virginia Mountaineers now have a Top 25 ranked class for the 2022 recruiting class.

West Virginia’s recruiting rankings for 2022 is currently ranked #25 in the nation right behind Clemson (#24) and USC (#23).

In addition, West Virginia is ranked ahead of powerhouse schools like Florida (#27), Michigan State (#29), Tennessee (#46), Miami (#78) and Auburn (#88).

Dana Holgorsen’s Houston, if you were curious, is currently ranked #99 in the nation.  Didn’t he say you can’t get recruits to come to Morgantown?  

The 2022 class currently has 12 commits featuring quarterback Nicco Marchiol, cornerback Jacolby Spells, running back Justin Williams, defensive ends Aric Burton and Zion Young, offensive linemen Maurice Hamilton, Sully Weidman and Charlie Katarincic, wide receiver Jarel Williams, athlete Tyrin Woodby, tight end Corbin Page and defensive back Mumu Bin-Wahad.

Neal Brown is building something special at West Virginia and this is only the beginning!  Several more big name recruits are expected to commit to the Mountaineers in the coming days!
