West Virginia Pitt Game is One of the Most Expensive Games in College Football

Morgantown, West Virginia – When the West Virginia Mountaineers travel to Pittsburgh to play the Pitt Panthers on September 1st, it will be in front of a sold-out crowd.

The Backyard Brawl has been sold-out for a few weeks and tickets to the game have increased in price due to supply and demand.

Right now, tickets to West Virginia’s season opener are selling for $236 per ticket on average. This is currently the third most expensive game in the first week of college football, according to Everything College Football and TickPick.  

The only games more expensive in Week 1 are Notre Dame at Ohio State ($380) and North Carolina at Appalachian State ($371). Arizona at San Diego State ($230) and Oregon at Georgia ($182) round out the top five most expensive games of the week.
