Morgantown, West Virginia – Following West Virginia’s seventh consecutive loss, starting point guard Kedrian Johnson took to social media to express his displeasure with the loyalty of the West Virginia fanbase.

“They love you when you doing good but act like they don’t know it when you’re not? Loyalty? Yeah I don’t think so. All me and my teammates have is each other.”

Jalen Bridges, a sophomore forward from Fairmont, West Virginia, who grew up around the Mountaineers fanbase and should understand the incredible loyalty of West Virginians, seemed to agree with his Johnson, adding, “We’re all we got!!!”

This, of course, is absolutely ridiculous and a complete slap in the face to the thousands of people that pay their hard-earned money to watch and support the team in the WVU Coliseum, as well as to the countless of West Virginian fans around the country who support the team every step of the way.

West Virginia’s players might be facing some scrutiny following seven straight losses, but ultimately there’s no fanbase in college athletics who are more loyal than the Mountaineers.
