Morgantown, West Virginia – According to On3.com’s Jamie Shaw, Bob Huggins and the West Virginia Mountaineers coaching staff have reached out to former Marshall center Micah Handlogten.
Handlogten, a 7’1 center from Huntersville, North Carolina, was the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year this past season, averaging 7.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game while shooting 66.2% from the field.
In addition to the Mountaineers, Handlogten has reportedly heard from Indiana, Virginia, Clemson, NC State, Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina, Illinois, Georgia and several others.
