West Virginia Senior Named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, Senior forward Gabe Osabuohien was named the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year!

Osabuohien averaged 5.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.6 blocks per game for the Mountaineers this season.

Osabuohien shares the award this year with Baylor’s Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua and Oklahoma State’s Moussa Cisse.
