West Virginia Starting Point Guard Announces Return

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, West Virginia’s starting point guard, redshirt senior Kedrian Johnson, announced that he will return next season.

Johnson averaged 5.3 points and 2.2 rebounds per game for the Mountaineers this past season and will almost certainly be in the starting lineup for the team next season.

Both Jalen Bridges and Isaiah Cottrell announced earlier today that they are leaving the team and entering the transfer portal.

Johnson said the following in his announcement: “UNFINISHED BUSINESSS. Loyalty is the pledge of truth to oneself and others. With that being said, I’m back.”
