A Legendary State Championship Performance
Mossor saved his most memorable performance for the biggest stage.
In the state championship game, he accounted for all five touchdowns for Princeton and added multiple two-point conversions, single-handedly carrying his team to a dramatic 36–35 victory and an undefeated state title. It was the kind of performance that instantly becomes part of West Virginia high school football lore.
What WVU Is Getting
West Virginia is adding far more than just gaudy statistics.
Mossor brings:
-
Elite all-around athleticism
-
Proven versatility at multiple positions
-
Big-game toughness and leadership
-
A relentless competitive edge
Whether he develops as a running back, slot weapon, return specialist, or hybrid offensive threat, Mossor fits perfectly into the modern college football mold — and into the culture WVU is building.
A Homegrown Win for the Mountaineers
Landing the top player in the state is always significant. Doing it immediately after extending an offer speaks volumes about Mossor’s belief in the program and his desire to represent his home state at the highest level.
West Virginia didn’t just get a commitment on Monday.
They secured a program-changing playmaker — and one of the most decorated athletes the Mountain State has seen in recent memory.
