West Virginia Target Ranks as a Top Transfer

Morgantown, West Virginia – According to college basketball analytics expert Evan Miyakawa, Arizona transfer Kerr Krissa is among the best players available in the ever-expanding transfer portal.

Krissa, a 6’3 point guard who averaged 9.9 points and 5.1 assists per game last season for Arizona, has a transfer ranking of five stars and is currently the #6 overall ranked prospect in the portal. The only players who are ranked higher are Keegan Records (Colgate), Kadin Shedrick (Virginia), Kel’el Ware (Oregon), Walter Clayton (Iona) and Sahvir Wheeler (Kentucky).

The Mountaineers have also reached out to several other players who are ranked on Miyakawa’s updated list, including Eddie Lampkin (TCU, #13) and Caleb Love (North Carolina, #21).

Krissa is said to be deciding between West Virginia, Nebraska and Xavier. Although Xavier was considered an early favorite to land Krissa’s services because his former head coach at Arizona, Sean Miller, is now the head coach at Xavier, but Krissa reportedly had an outstanding visit in Morgantown over the weekend and many now consider West Virginia at the very top of his list.
