Here’s how our experts think the game will play out today:

West Virginia has momentum on their side after a MUCH needed win against Baylor last Thursday. I think the Mountaineers escape Lubbock with a close win giving them even more momentum going into the TCU game next Saturday. West Virginia wins in a nailbiter.

It’s a good day to have a damn good day! After losing to the Red Raiders for three straight years, West Virginia takes down Texas Tech. Truthfully, I can’t remember if I said they would win in our article earlier in the week, but that doesn’t matter. I’m feeling f***ing great about this one today!
LET’S GO!

Neal Brown has never won 3 games in a row at West Virginia. He’s never beaten Texas Tech (0-3). West Virginia’s secondary is one of the worst in the entire country and Texas Tech’s passing game is one of the best (2nd in the nation passing yards per game).
I want to think that the Mountaineers have a chance to win today, but they literally have everything going against them today.
West Virginia’s offense will keep the game competitive, but JT Daniels will not be able to pass the ball all over the field in the Lubbock, Texas wind. Freshman sensation running back CJ Donaldson will be back, but he won’t be really back.
Winning at Texas Tech is really hard. If the Mountaineers can pull the upset, it would be one of Neal Brown’s most impressive wins as the team’s head coach and could potentially turn the season around in a positive direction.
But ultimately, I just don’t see it happening. Texas Tech gets up early and runs away with it in the end, and Neal Brown’s seat gets even hotter with the undefeated, #8 ranked TCU Frogs coming to Morgantown next weekend.
