West Virginia Tight End Leaves the Team

Morgantown, West Virginia – West Virginia tight end, T.J. Banks, has confirmed to The Voice of Motown that he has left the team and will enter the transfer portal.

Banks, a 6’5 245 pound tight end from Duquesne, Pennsylvania, is a redshirt junior.  Banks was a backup tight end behind Mike O’Laughlin and started several games when O’Laughlin was injured.

Banks had 6 receptions for 51 yards this season and finished his career with the Mountaineers with 10 receptions for 132 yards and 1 touchdown.

West Virginia now has 27 transfers during this calendar year, which leads the country.
