Morgantown, West Virginia – The West Virginia Mountaineers women’s basketball team has now won 9 consecutive games to move to 14-2 overall and 8-2 in Big 12 Conference play on the season with a 65-56 win over the Iowa State Cyclones!

The Mountaineers were led by senior guard Kysre Gondrezick, who finished the game with 22 points and 4 assists. Junior guard Madisen Smith added 15 points and 4 rebounds.
The #21 ranked Mountaineers will try to extend their winning streak to 10 games when they next play on the road at Texas on Saturday, February 6th at 8:00PM.
