West Virginia’s Chuck Yeager Has Passed Away

According to multiple reports, Chuck Yeager, 97, passed away this evening.

Yeager was a native of Myra, West Virginia. He is famously known for being the first man ever to break the sound barrier. His service began in World War II for the United States Air Force, and he would serve more than three decades before his retirement in 1975.

Chuck Yeager will be greatly missed.
