Former WVU quarterback Will Grier is finally on track to get his second chance in the NFL.

According to multiple reports, Grier has officially been moved to the active roster for the Dallas Cowboys. Dak Prescott, the Cowboys starting quarterback, is not quite ready to return from a thumb injury yet. Grier, who last saw the field for the Panthers, will be a reserve for Cooper Rush.

Dallas takes on the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at 4:25.
