Although Grier has been released by the Panthers, he had a rather impressive preseason and will likely earn a roster spot somewhere in the NFL this season.
Grier, a third round pick by the Panthers in 2019, battled against PJ Walker to become the backup go starter Sam Darnold, but unfortunately he did not win that competition.
Best of luck to Grier moving forward!
